Shields Avenue Lagoon

Post by kmcc01 » Wed Feb 12, 2014 10:00 pm

Back in the 60's and into the 70's when Fresno had a lot of rain Shields Avenue would flood. The city would put out the wooden closed signs along with some oil burners for night time. We would build wooden rafts and go sailing on Lake Shields!
