Anybody remember the name of the arcade on Blackstone/Bullard across from Zodys?

I believe you are thinking of Festival. Spent hours in there in the early 80's.

Re: What is the name of this ARCADE?

Dear god I have been trying to remember that name for years. I was somehow able to successfully recall the fact that their ads always played at Festival Cinemas but somehow could not mentally carry that over to the arcade itself. I stopped going long before I learned how to drive so I never really knew how to get there but I remember they always mentioned Escalon street in the voice overs and there was an Arby's somewhere in the vicinity.

Was it "Oh Wow!" or was that too recent?

I think there was more than 1 arcade. It was like a little franchise. The one I am thinking about was near Bullard and Blackstone. Federico's Beauty college is still there and was right next door. I want to say Penny Lane but, not sure. I'll have to ask one of my school buddies who used to go there with me, next time I see him.

Loved Festival Arcade. I’d load up the nuke box with some Def Leopard, buy a Nestles Crunch at the snack bar, and play video games and pin ball for hours. I’d usually take the bus during summer vacation. Good times.

This age and memory thing is real huh.
Festival was north of Bullard in the Herb Bower's center and other one by Federico's would be VIDEO PINBALL. It's not all smoke and mirrors, just mirrors remember now,,?
