In 1969 I rode in that plane. I had started to do a management audit of Lisle Funeral Home as part of my MBA program at Fresno State. Roy Franz was the manager of Lisle Funeral Home at the time and was also a pilot. It must have been a slow day and he asked if I wanted to go for a plane ride. I said "sure" and we flew east. I remember him coming down low over Huntington Lake and then over one of the dams on the lake. In addition to using the planes for bring bodies back to Fresno, they also started a scheduled passenger flight service between Fresno and Sacramento which they ran for several years.
