Do you remember the Country Boys Market with its wooden floors? Walter Smiths was the place to go for clothes on the Fulton Mall. Penny Candy had great blacklight posters and don't forget Whitie's Pet Store on Blackstone. What vintage retail do you remember growing up in Fresno?

Pacific Hobby - Cedar & Herndon

Does anyone remember Pacific Hobby on the South-East corner of Cedar & Herndon? We used to put on weekly R/C car races in the parking lot. This included an annual Indy 500 that was actually 500 scale miles long. (42 actual miles) I was part owner for a while. Several times we were featured on the local TV news. Did you ever race there or see any of our events?
