Anyone else recall the "mini mall" setup between Safeway and the Theater? There was a newsstand, barber shop, beauty college, florist, Carnation restaurant, a fish market, and I'm sure I'm forgetting more. Fond memories with my grandma. I frequented there in the early 80's.

I remember this. I thought it was really cool. Was that restaurant a Carnation? I remember one at First and Shaw.
