My first charge account. I applied and was denied. I went to the credit office (mid80’s) and inquired why. I was asked about Glenn and Mildred (grandparents) and received a charge plate in the mail shortly after. When in the service, I would call the Fulton store to shop and have my account charged. Personal shopping way back!
