The Old Crepe and Fondue House

Post by MJB » Tue Nov 27, 2018 4:10 pm

Does anyone else remember this eatery that was located on Blackstone Ave just north of Belmont Ave in the 1970's? I'm pretty sure I have the right name. As the name suggests, they were all about fondue and crepes. They had cheddar and swiss varieties of fondue, and both sweet and savory crepes. Such a cool rustic atmosphere. It was my first experience with these foods, and I was heartbroken when they closed.

I think it was actually called The Original Fondue and Crepe House. It was a favorite place in the mid/late 70's. Cute waiters and a great atmosphere.
