Pulling into the Mars Drive-in for a Lime Rickey. Ordering up a burger from the car hop at the A&W on Blackstone. Checking out the action at Bob's Big Boy. Your favorite grilled cheese sandwich at the Woolworths Counter. Don't forget loading up at Perry Boys Smorgy. What eats do you miss?

What about the Gaslight? They had the best banana nut bread as an appetizer.

Back in the day (1969) I took at busboy job at the Tradewinds. The coffeeshop was OK but the Dinning Room was much nicer. I was so young and with little experience, they wouldn't let me work in the Dinning Room. Attached are some original menus from that time period. Check out the prices!

Wow! Lobster and steak, $5.95! It's nearly 10x that now!
