I recall Lesters starting as a hotdog stand across from Roosevelt HS. This was in the early 1950,s. I graduated in 1954 from Roosevelt

I remember the one at Clinton & Blackstone I think, just North of Radcliffe Stadium, this was mid 60's, man were they good cheeseburgers! Secret sauce before anyone knew what secret sauce was!

Lester burger had the best cheapest hamburgers around . I used to go to the one on Palm and shields, across from Baskin-Robbins. That used to be a big thing during lunch at school we take off with as many people in one car as we could get and pull our money and go buy as many hamburgers as we can get. They were cheap then we'd all split the sodas. fun times from Fresno high
