I remember the Chuckwagon Restaurant! We moved to Fresno in 1959 from Reno Nevada (another GREAT town to grow up in back then) and the first night we were in town we had dinner there. My sister Barb fell asleep in her chair slumped over in her mashed potatoes and gravy.

Mello Ice Cream shop. I'm not certain of the location, maybe near Roeding park. Al Radka would say at the end of the Mello commercial "Get Mello Fellow."

I remember all of these restaurants. Got my first Golden Retriever from Dee Tersian owner of Dee's, in 1967. Regarding the Velvet Turtle, once it closed, what did it become? Thanks!
