What ever happened to them? I remember they were around in the early 1980's but that's about it.

There was one on Kings Canyon well into the mid to late 2000s, and I believe we passed one on the way to Traver/Kingsburg a few (2-3) years ago...

Apparently, they're still around in Modesto, Madera, Dinuba
