Al Radka Record LP from 1958

You just got home from school and it’s Channel 30 Fun Time! Or maybe Nancy Allen's Movie Matinee on Channel 24. Don’t forget the BOSS 30's #1 KYNO. If you were sophisticated, you only listened to KFIG on some new airwave called FM. We honor the late great Al Radka here at Lost Fresno whose motto was Lettuce Eat it!

Now THAT'S got to be a rarity! I know my 50s & 60s oldies pretty well, but I've never heard of ANY of the artists on that one!

I danced on the record hop for years. It was great fun. We got lots of records for free, demo records. Sometimes we found great sounding records months before they became hits but most of the time the records weren't good. Sometimes we threw them into space and they flew like a Frisby. But I don't remember seeing this record. Gary Cocola, of Cocola Broadcasting in Fresno was Al Radka's apprentice in those days, he might know something about this record.
