Hi my wife's parents met at the de Marquis in 1978 can anyone tell me where exactly this place was located? Address or general idea.

I believe the de Marquis was located on south bound Golden State Blvd just north of Chestnut Ave. (before it was an over- pass).

That is correct. West side of Golden State, just north of the old Beacon Truck Stop. The old building was still there a few years ago.

I babysat for years while in high school for a gal who was a cocktail waitress at the de Marquis. I had forgotten all about that. Her husband was a musician who played with Ray Camacho and the Teardrops.
