Anyone remember Nightmare Castle 1996-1999?

~
Come back with us now to those hot summer nights when half of Fresno's teens were driving up and down Belmont. Or remember what it was like on Fulton St. before Belmont took the title of "Fresno's Main Drag" Remember the Rainbow Ballroom? Post you night life memories here.

Anyone remember Nightmare Castle 1996-1999?

It was a haunted house attraction in a field on the west side Clovis Avenue, just south of Shaw. You went thru a dungeon then into a graveyard then back into a dungeon again. Not very bloody but they seem to have set the mood right and it was down right scary.

My husband and I both worked there the first year.
He was The Butcher - the big guy with the axe that most people thought was animatronic until he moved off the platform.

I floated between being the headless body in The Butcher's room and the decapitated head in the mad scientist's lab. And our nephew was the guy with the chainsaw in the graveyard.

OMG, I remember you guys. Its Me Tim, the Grave Robber. Your husbands name is Thor right? Bryan and I often wondered what happened to you guys. Bryan is due back in the area soon and we are discussing the "re-appearance" of Nightmare Castle. Shoot me an email at NAWCorp@yahoo.com.
