Great lists and so many memories from the previous pots

1) harpains dairy - near my house off of Ashlan.
2).country squire theater - first and Ashlan
3). Pizza & pipes - near the old gemco (now Target) on shields. Weird old organ in that place on the 2nd floor.
4) Ashlan park driving range - near the old harpains fairy.
5) home channel movies - McKinley Ave. was the first place to rent vhs or beta movies when vcr’s came out in the early 80’s. I remember you had to choose a side based on whether you had a vhs or beta player when you entered the store.
6) Flauts donuts (I think??). Near Radcliffe stadium on Blackstone and Clinton I think (used to be a strip mall there with this classic donut shop). So good!!

Some of my favorite memories I didn't see while glancing through others posts...

1. The Pop Shoppe (5 cent bottles of pop)
2. Sky Harbor Road (before Table Mountain)
3. Lost Lake
4. Sunnyside swap meet and drive in
5. Roller Town
6. Munchy's (25 cent burgers)
7. Winchell's
8. Desegregation in school. (busloads of kids riding clear across town to help all of us understand that our differences weren't really differences at all)

I can't help but wonder while taking my stroll down memory lane this morning what the lists of my children will look like.

8) Blakleys swim park and golf course
9) Farmers Market Mayfair on Tulare, Rossi's Pizza, great Calzones
10) Donna Coble, she broke my heart!
