What Schools Did You Attend?

I thought maybe it would be fun if people would post when they lived in Fresno and what schools they attended and when, and who knows, maybe connect with someone you knew in junior high school or something. I know on the other old thread on the other site that someone recognized me from elementary school, which I thought was cool. So, here goes....

I was born (1957) and raised in Fresno, and left in 1977 when I joined the Marine Corps and haven't lived there since. However, I do go home at least once or twice a year because my mom still lives there and a few of my best friends from high school too. So I have seen Fresno go from a nice sleepy kind of city to the more dangerous city it is now. I do find that sad, because Fresno was a pretty good place to grow up in back then. Anyway, my school years were:

1972 - 1975 Roosevelt High School

I have seen Fresno go from the little Ag town to the crazy city it is now where you don't know when you leave Fresno and arrive into Pinedale or Clovis..Yes Pinedale...my grandparents lived there and it felt like it took us forever to drive from Princeton and Blackstone to Herndon and Blackstone!! I left Fresno in 1977 bound for Oregon and now in Alaska. I go back a couple times a year to visit my parents and the rest of the family who stayed in the valley.

Moved from Fresno in 1998 to St. Louis, MO. Suburb I live in reminds me a lot of Fresno when growning up. Had a great childhood, fun place to be from, but sadly Fresno has changed so much that it is NOT the same place.

Born in Fresno 1947. Lived there until 1966. Went to K-2 at Washington Elementary School; 2-6 at Homan Elementary; 7-9 at Hamilton Jr. High, and graduated from FHS 1965. Left for UCLA 1966 after spending a year at Fresno State.
