Memories about growing up in:

I am doing some research on Roeding Park - who has memories of the park? Any memories of the surrounding neighborhood?

I remember going there in the 70s and 80s. It was fun riding the train, the cups, the roller coaster, and the baskets. Then going to the zoo. My friends and I used to make a day of it.

Curious what happened to the original miniature train , The Rotary Chief” that was installed in the park in 1955. When did they stop using it and why? Where did it go from Fresno?
