My husband was one of the engineers in high school during summer vacation - probably about 1959. He remembers it was 10 cents to ride & yes, there was a tunnel.

When i was a kid, the train was almost always broken. The baskets were alot of fun though

I actually own the original Roeding park train , the rotary Chief from 1955. I would post pictures here but it’s too complicated. I’m looking for information on the train. When was it taken out of service and gotten rid of? Where did it go when it left Fresno? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
